No Need for Cable: City Council/Planning Commission Meetings to be Live Streamed Only
Posted Date: 10/12/2017

Want to stay connected with the City of Hercules? Starting this month, City Council and Planning Commission meetings will only be available through the City’s website and for a pilot period will no longer be available via cable channels 28 (Comcast) and 99 (ATT). You can stream the meetings live on your computer, smart TV, or other device at the time of the meetings. You can access the meetings through the City’s website www.ci.hercuels.ca.us and the Meetings & Agendas tab, or by going to https://hercules.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx, or by clicking here: City of Hercules Meetings. Don’t forget to add this to your favorites or to bookmark this link!

After the meeting concludes, it is available to view on demand through the same link with the individual agenda items bookmarked for ease of navigation and access. Interested in only one item on the agenda? No need to watch the entire meeting using the bookmarks.

To ensure your computer or device has the minimum system requirements for viewing meeting videos go to: http://granicus.force.com/citizen/articles/Standard_Article/Video-Streaming-Minimum-System-Requirements or click on this link: Minimum Standard Requirements

The City is interested to get your feedback on this pilot program. Please contact City Clerk Lori Martin at lmartin@ci.hercules.ca.us or at (510) 799-8215 to share your thoughts and your experiences with the live stream and on-line access.
