A REWARD OF UP TO FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($50,000)Will be paid by Chevron to the person or persons who furnish information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who murdered Neal Abernathy and his twelve year old son Brendan, husband and son of Chevron employee Susan Abernathy. The murders occurred on February 19, 1997, in Hercules, California.

The Hercules Police Department, in conjunction with Chevron, will make the final determination as to who receives the reward based on the reliability of the information provided to the police.
