Community Pride and Neighborhood Clean-Up Program

The Neighborhood Clean-up campaign delivers pre-planned clean-up efforts to defined areas, within focus neighborhoods, in an effort to beautify the neighborhood one block at a time. The program includes volunteer group coordination to assist with manpower for clean-up days and provides the delivery of information on other city programs (recreation, public safety, etc.) to members of the surrounding neighborhood/community.

Some of the services being offered during the clean-up day include:

• A non-power tool check-out;
• Large dumpsters for disposal of all non-hazardous waste;
• A Goodwill truck accepting donations;
• City of Hercules staff to answer questions and/or concerns about the clean-up, disposal of materials, code compliance issues, etc.
