PARKING CITATIONS

Should you receive a parking citation from the Hercules Police Department, you may choose to pay or contest the citation.

To pay a citation:

·    You can mail a payment (check or money order payable to CPC) to:

To contest a citation:

·    You must write a letter to the Citation Payment Center (address above) stating your views of why the citation is an invalid citation. In other words, why you believe you should have not gotten a citation.

For all citation payments or contests, these are due 21 days from the date of the citation issuance. For further information or questions, you may call 510-423-7275.

If you fail to pay or appeal this citation as directed, vehicle registration may be withheld. Repeated unpaid parking citations may result in the vehicle being towed and/or impounded.
