Banners & Advertisement Opportunities

Banner Advertisements

The City of Hercules has four banner locations to help local businesses, programs, and events promote and advertise within the City. Banner reservations are made on a first come first serve basis and payment is due at the time of making a reservation. Banner reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Applicants will be required to provide their own 4 feet-high x 8 feet-long banner to the Parks & Recreation Department at the time of submitting their application. Banners will be put up and taken down by city staff per the reserved dates. The City of Hercules is not responsible for broken, damaged, or stolen banners. If banners are not picked up with 30 calendar days after the last reservation date, the banner will be discarded.

Signboard Advertisements

The City of Hercules has seven different signboard locations throughout the City for business, events, and programs to advertise and promote on a weekly basis. Signboard reservations are made on a first come first serve basis and payment is due at the time of making a reservation. Signboard reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Applicants will provide their own wording to be placed on a sign that is 23x31 inches.

Activity Guide Advertisements

The City of Hercules Parks Recreation Department prints and distributes 10,000 copies of their seasonal Activity Guide to Hercules businesses and residents. Affordable advertisement opportunities are available in each seasonal Activity Guide to help promote businesses, events, and activities. Reservations are made on a first come first serve basis and payment is due at the time of making a reservation. Activity Guide advertisements are non-refundable and non-transferable. The City reserves the right to refuse any advertisements that may be of a competing nature to the City's own activities/programs offered by the Parks & Recreation Department or due to the subject matter of the ad.
