FREE Movie: Refugio Valley Park

How-to-Train-your-DragonOur 3rd and final movie night of the summer is coming up on Friday, September 13 (yes Friday the 13th), at Refugio Valley Park.  Here’s a rundown of the night…

  • Storywalk = Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin
  • Movie = How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
  • Food Truck = Taqueria Esperanza

How to Train Your Dragon, the Hidden World, Hiccup and his faithful Dragon, Toothless, discover an ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, and find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace.

Dragons love tacos, is the perfect complement to feature film.  In this book, author Adam Rubin explains that Dragons love chicken tacos, beef tacos, great big tacos, and teeny tiny tacos. So if you want to lure a bunch of dragons to your party, you should definitely serve tacos. Buckets and buckets of tacos, and we totally agree.

Dragons-Love-TacosTaqueria Esperanza (food truck) will be at the event selling (among other things) tacos!  Friday, September 13, is shaping up to be something special.  See you there!!!

Timeline:  According to the Sunrise/Sunset index, sunset will be at 7:19p on F 9/13, and twilight will end at 7:45p.  With any luck, we should be able to start the movie by about 7:35-7:40.  The movie is 1 hour and 44 mins.  That puts the movie over by about 9:25p.  I sincerely hope that you will consider joining us for this great, fun, free event in Hercules.  Grab your family and/or friends, a warm blanket (or two), and join us in Refugio Valley Park.  See you there.
