Head Coach, Jodi Tamosunas

Jodi began her lifelong commitment to swimming in high school as an all-american, district champion. She then went on to swim at Linfield College in Oregon, where she earned a spot on the Wildcat National Team multiple years. Upon completion of her collegiate swimming career and earning her undergraduate degree at Linfield, she then went on to to earn a graduate degree in Education from Pacific University in Oregon. According to Jodi, swimming played a big role in her successes in life, and she is passionate about teaching her swimmers personal and athletic growth through the sport. “Swimming can be a catalyst to many things in life. It teaches athletes invaluable lessons about character, motivation, perseverance, and accomplishment.” Jodi has experience coaching and teaching these lessons at many levels, including high school, summer recreational teams, adult masters, and community college.
She has also lead camps and directed learn-to-swim programs. Her passion and value for what the sport of swimming has to offer young adults and children is the only motivation she needs to continue coaching. As someone who still swims herself, she encourages anyone to join swimming—it is truly a lifelong sport!

Assistant Head Coach, Chelsea Colliver

Chelsea started her own swimming career in Sitka, Alaska where she grew up. Chelsea was a successful swimmer for the Sitka High School Wolves, and for her USS club swim team. As part of both teams she earned many state recognized honors. She attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, where she swam for all 4 years. She earned an All-American title, and had a top 16 finish at Nationals during her collegiate career. As team captain for the Wildcats she was part of a NWC top 3 team. Chelsea graduated from Linfield as a Physical Education major, and currently teaches P.E. at Hercules Middle/High School, in addition to being the Titans swim coach. Coach Chelsea has brought lots of experience to EBSD as our Head Age Group/Developmental Coach. She brings much enthusiasm and knowledge to the development of stroke technique, strength and endurance. For Chelsea it’s more than just coaching swimming, but developing a love for the sport and life-long fitness. She enjoys building a team atmosphere that is centered around fundamental skills for life.
