Sycamore Crossing

Sycamore Crossing is a 12.88-acre site at the southwest corner of the intersection of Sycamore Avenue and San Pablo Avenue. On Sept. 10, 2019, the City Council approved an application by the property owners, represented by the Lewis Group, to develop the site with retail, hotel, and residential uses.

Development Plans

The Sycamore Crossing site is currently constrained by utility lines that cross the property above and below ground; City staff is working with the developer to remove those constraints, and to grade the site to facilitate development.

The City prepared and issued an Initial Study (pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act) that found that the land uses analyzed and impacts resulting from the level of development for the proposed Sycamore Crossing project are within the scope of the development program evaluated in the 2009 Updated Redevelopment Plan Draft EIR (Redevelopment Plan EIR) (SCH #200112049) certified by the City Council on April 20, 2009, and would result in no new or more severe significant impacts than previously analyzed.Sycamore Crossing Site Plan
